COVID-19 UPDATES

8th July 2020
At this stage we remain open as an essential health provider. However, we are strongly advising anyone in the high risk categories (the elderly, people with chronic conditions or compromised immune systems, from a hotspot area etc) to remain at home unless absolutely necessary. We also encourage anyone that can manage at home with exercise and stretches to do so at this stage.
It is recommended that you use the Covid symptom checker online tool prior to an appointment.
And to download the Covidsafe app.

The health and safety of our clients and staff is still our top priority. We are following the government and WHO guidelines to ensure this so please read and adhere to our temporary clinic policy and procedures outlined below.

Our opening hours will also be changing as more restrictions are lifted over the coming months, so please check our online calendar for all available appointments.

We thank you for your understanding and co-operation in these times.

CLINIC POLICY AND PROCEDURES
  • We won't be charging cancellation fees due to illness.
  • Please reschedule your appointment if you have any cold or flu signs or symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath etc).
  • Please reschedule your appointment if you believe you have been in contact with a possible or confirmed case of Covid-19 in the last 14 days.

On the day of your appointment
  • Please wait outside or in your car until the time of your appointment to avoid too many people in the reception area.
  • Please do not bring anyone into the clinic for your appointment. We have an exception for carers of patients who need physical assistance. If this can not be avoided please contact us before hand.
  • Upon entering the clinic please either sanitise your hands with the Hand Sanitizer on the reception desk or wash your hands at the sink. Dry your hands with the paper towel and dispose.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Avoid shaking hands.
  • Cover nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Please dispose of this tissue and rewash your hands.
  • We prefer payment to be made with card rather than handling cash.

Procedures we have put into place within the clinic
  • All surfaces will be regularly disinfected, with commonly touched surfaces cleaned in-between every patient.
  • We will have a gap between each client to allow us to disinfect each surface and to make sure we adhere to the number of people allowed in the space.
  • All our Myotherapists have completed an eLearning course in Infection Control Training from the Australian Government Department of Health.
