Rachael Powers (Baggallay) 

Rachael is a qualified Myotherapist and a member of MAA, Myotherapy Association Australia (formerly IRMA).

Since 2003 she has worked in clinical and corporate positions and with elite athletes from the Melbourne Storm Rugby Club.

Rachael is a keen outdoors adventurer and regularly rock climbs, mountain bikes and hikes. She has also competed in numerous endurance races over the years. Accordingly, she can empathize with the many aches and pains you feel, especially following training and competitive events. Rachael believes this gives her a better understanding of the pain you are suffering and insight for the best way to treat you. 

Rachael is passionate about her job and loves the satisfaction of healing people. Come in and see how she can work on getting your body back on track.

Amrita Bassi

Amrita joined Muscle Needs Myotherapy in October 2011. She studied at the Australian College of Sports Therapy obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) and is a member of MAA.

Amrita has always had a huge sporting influence in her life due to her family’s sporting involvement. She is a great admirer of all sports and follows AFL, Rugby and Soccer to name a few.

Amrita’s passion for Myotherapy arose through her brother’s uncanny ability to get injured whilst training and competing for Australia in Freestyle Wrestling. She helps out at various local community sporting clubs when she can. Amrita had great exposure to professional athletes whilst working with Melbourne Victory for the 2010-2011 football season.

Amrita enjoys the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, incorporating various modalities to achieve optimal long term results.  

Connie Lacey

Starting out as a Remedial Massage Therapist, Connie went on to advance her skill set by completing the Myotherapy course at MIMT. She is a member of MMA, Massage and Myotherapy Australia (formerly AAMT).

Connie enjoys the great outdoors, from cycling to hiking and anything sport, but only Collingwood when she talks AFL!

Having previous experience in the health care industry (rehabilitating quadriplegics) as well as an avid interest in health, nutrition and fitness, Connie's interest in treatment provides a holistic approach to muscle maintenance.
